Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

This is hard to find but worth it. Don't let the appearance deter you. The soft tacos were delicious but rice and beans were average. For you little eaters out there, the portions are HUGE! So plan accordingly. I did not have room for my rice and beans after eating the two soft tacos. Downside, you have to order at the counter and it is delivered on paper plates. Upside, there is a bar full of different salsa kinds, all of which were favorable. If you're a Mexican eater.. I'd say it's worth a shot.

Good food, fair portions and prices. Salsas were good, try green if spicy is your thing. Got the fish tacos with refried beans and rice, all were tasty. Will definitely return again.

We still love it. We've been coming back annually to Hilton Head and each year we eat at Fiesta Fresh at least daily. The tacos are fantastic. The salsa bar is still wonderful and very fresh and the family that owns/operates the restaurant are a delight. Highly recommend you going if you like tacos.

The food at this place is actually quite good. We got takeout and while our meals (he had a steak quesadilla and I had a chipotle fish wrap) were really good, I wish I could say the service was the same. First off, I called to place a takeout order at 8pm (they close at 9pm), and they were out of rice. Really? RICE?! On a Thursday night? But okay, I'll deal. The lady couldn't get me off the phone fast enough, and as I said "thank you" after she took my order, she said, "Yeah, so, we're closing because we're out of food so you better get here fast." Walked in and there was no one at the counter. We were politely waiting when another female customer walked in and stood behind us. The female employee came out from the back and said, "Oh, Linda! Hi! Did you place a takeout order?" Then proceeded to cash her out right in front of us, essentially just kind of blowing us off. My husband, politely, said, "Excuse me, but we've been waiting..." And the employee told us "Well, but she's a regular so I'm going to take her first." Um, really? To top it off, once we did get our order and went to get some salsa to go, she stood and watched us, and warned us not to spill salsa because she didn't want to clean it up again. Okay, lady, whatever you say. Closing an hour early? Telling me to hurry up? Being out of a pretty substantial staple in Mexican food? Blowing us off while you take another customer? Telling us, two adults, not to make a mess because you don't feel like cleaning it up? As much as I like about the food at Fiesta Fresh, I'm sorry, but the service we experienced will keep us (out-of-towners on our honeymoon) from returning on this trip and any future trips.

Terrific, fresh food and lovely service! Prices are very reasonable and it's FAST! Their salsa bar is yummy! The pico de gallo was so fresh! A star was deducted for lack of alcohol (a margarita or beer would have been perfection!) .
(4)Shannon H.
Wonderful place and great fresh food. Everyone there is super friendly. Very clean and fast food delivery. Love this place!
(5)Matthew D.
Really speedy service! Polite staff! Tasty food and salsa bar... Clean establishment. All this for a super low price. I'd come again!
(5)Barry O.
Very very good Mexican. Fast, friendly, great portions and great price. We will be back this week.
(5)Paul H.
We have eaten on a couple of different occasions and every time it continues to impress! This a counter service place and the lady manning the counter is very friendly and helpful. The food is brought to the table quickly and so delicious. They have a salsa bar to serve yourself and it is really good. You can taste the love they have for their food in the dishes served.
(5)Jason F.
Excellent little gem hidden away on HHI. Excellent food, great family owned space and terrific value. Tacos are traditional. Will most certainly be back. Do not hesitate to seek out!
(5)Chelsea R.
Got the #11 combination platter with beef fajitas and refried beans. Don't let your first impression scare you, as others have noted. The restaurant is nestled deep within many other restaurants and small businesses; it is very hard to find. We also noticed the sign said "Mexician" instead of "Mexican" which we all got a chuckle out of. However the food was FRESH. The free guac was excellent. The salsa bar was amazing (I RECOMMEND the red hot sauce). We were greeted by a lovely woman in the front as we entered so service was good. Also, a man kept coming to our table asking if we needed anything. I recommend the fajita combination platter, the fiesta chicken salad, and the hard shell tacos w/ beef. Overall a great experience and as my dad put it, "We will definitely be coming back."
(5)Robin D.
I just moved to Hilton Head and was looking for Chipotles. Alas, Fiesta Fresh Mexican Grill popped up in Yelp. I gave it a try. I have been eating vegetarian for a while and tried the vegetarian tacos. Fresh and delicious. Guacamole, black beans and pico de gallo. If they don't add enough pico de gallo to your liking, there is plenty at the bar. Along with limes, 3 types of salsa, diced onions, etc. Also, the family (3 generations) work there and are very pleasant. They are fast and constantly cleaning the tables and speaking to customers.
(5)liz s.
This place is off the beaten path, but still easy enough to find. We've gone twice and both times it's been excellent. Great salsa, awesome burritos and tacos. Good price, friendly service. We'll be going back again on our next trip to HHI.
(4)ed f.
Went last night for a quick dinner, and this fit the bill perfectly. Think chipotle/qdoba/baja fresh, but a bit more authentic. Everyone working there was incredibly nice. They bring a little bowl of chips to the table while you wait and are very friendly. We both had burritos. I'd have to rate it a touch below the big 3 mentioned in the intro solely b/c the beans were a bit mushier than i like. The gringo burrito had lots of good tender steak and delicious guac. The salsas available were all fresh and flavorful. All in all, i'd go there again for sure.
(4)Jerry V.
The soft shelled tacos that I had were the best that I ever had. Had two tacos, chicken and steak. Service was excellent.
(5)michelle e.
Best Mexican food on the island!
(5)Matt G.
This place is what one would call "gringo" Mexican, as they appropriately named one of their burritos. The food was most certainly not worth the 4 and a half stars yelp has given it. While the people were very nice, the service as nothing stellar. If you're acquainted with good Mexican food, this place is most certainly not for you.
(2)Josh H.
Very fresh ingredients, super friendly staff, extremely reasonable prices. Would definitely be regulars if we lived in the area. Worth the visit
(5)David M.
Great and fast. If you just need a Mexican "food fix" at a good price, this is it. When we come here on vacation, this is always our first night meal.
(5)James S.
Its been 1 year since we visited the Island, and we enjoyed Fiesta Fresh once again. If anything has changed, its their food has gotten better. The hard shell tacos were excellent, with the shell made right then. Outstanding!!
(5)Beth H.
This is about as good as Mexican food gets so if you're in the mood then this is the place to go. The other reviewers that praise this place are right.
(5)Phil T.
We went their for dinner and lunch during a recent 4 day stay since we liked their food so much. It is a short bike ride from the S Forest Beach area. The restaurant is family owned and we spoke to the owner who was very friendly. Can't wait to return when we visit Hilton Head again.
(4)Adam F.
Awesome customer service. We are moving close by and it WILL be a weekly staple in my diet. Nachos= amazing. Chicken taco salad=amazing. It is fast foodish Mexican, but very fresh and not greasy. Counting down the days till I can make it back!
(5)Ajay P.
Excellent Mexican food! Its a family run place! You go up to the counter and order and seat yourself. Food is certainly as the name claims...fresh! Prices were fair.. we fed 2 adults & 4 kids for $30.00! I tried for the first time Torta "Mexican Sandwich" Loved their Salsa bar!
(5)Lillian P.
Wow so yummy. We went to the beach and I decided to yelp for some places nearby and found this place. i am not a fan of Mexican food but I would go here every day. It is a small place and semi hidden but a must. I had taco's and the kids got burritos and tacos. Everything was amazing the shells were homemade and didn't break while eating which was nice. I thought the little salsa bar was a nice idea. We got our little sides and were very happy. I got some to take back to the hotel later. Also for feeding three people with take home extras it was a little over 20$
(5)Shanelle J.
confused as to why this place has such good ratings??? do not get the fajitas. usually when ordering fajitas you get lettuce, tomato, cheese, etc. but not here! they barely give you any meat and try to hide that by drowning it in onions. they charge you if you ask for a small side of cheese or extra tortillas. the service is okay and they have a good variety of salsa. the guacamole isnt fresh and tastes the same as the one you can buy at Costco. also, I do recommend the horchata it's better than most I've had.
(2)Jamie F.
I wish I could have tasted the food. I work very early in the morning and get out FAMISHED. It smelled so good in there! Walked in to Fiesta Fresh this afternoon, determined to try some decent local Mexican food. I really wanted 2 carnitas tacos to go. That's it. In the middle of taking my order, a waitress said "hold one second" (not even a please!) and let the order taker talk to the kitchen about something for about two minutes, while I stood there. Then someone else interrupted the order taker 30 seconds later, and she saw fit to ignore me again. No apology, no "excuse me a second", nothing. I walked out, still hungry.
(3)Robin G.
This place is great. We rode our bikes here and were pleasantly surprised at the great food and fast service. Very good and a great value for your money. We will definitely come back.
(5)Laura W.
Stopped here on our way into town per the Yelp recommendations. Very authentic and no frills Mexican food. I enjoyed my chimichanga but would get chicken next time instead of steak, as it was rather chewy (and my son's chicken was great). Great guac and side salsas. I'd eat here if I was a local craving Mexican, but - as a visitor - I will probably try another spot next time just to explore other options.
(3)Jeff L.
Do not let your first impression fool you or make you leave for another place to dine. This place simply has fantastic, authentic Mexican food. We tried the enchiladas and the chicken wrap. Both were outstanding! They also had a great selection of salsas from which to choose. Go spicy!
(5)Christian E.
this place is awful! I don't know what these other reviews are talking about! the service was mediocre and the food had me sick to my stomach. I got charged for a few more tortillas and had to bargain for a little more cheese
(1)Cheezwhiz R.
In a strip mall. This is a great place we had shrimp an we had a order of beff fajitas. The menu was great prices. My shrimp was large on the fajit5. The rice and beans were flavorful was others said some menu items lacked flavor that is why they have a salsa bar. You can put as much or less flavor and Iiked that. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is for the Guacamole and chips.. rhe guacamole lacked something and the chips soso. I would recommend this to anyone that likes mexican food. I'll be back soon. The staff was extremely friendly asked us twice how the food was this place takes pride in their restaurant.
(4)April A.
Seriously....everything here is solid. I got the chicken enchiladas w/ rice & black beans & it was awesome! Everything is super fresh made to order & fabulous!! I also got the mango & Tamil (probably spelled it wrong) drink mixed & that was really good as well. Will be going back before I leave the island. So happy I stumbled across this gem!
(5)Steve F.
Somewhat hidden away and in an unmemorable building, but the food was good and the service was excellent.
(4)Michael H.
Love it! We come annually and its always fast and delicious. You will not be disappointed.
(5)Renee L.
Don't let the look fool you. The food is very good with quick service from the kitchen. We had chicken tacos, chimichangas, nachos & taco salad. Everything was fabulous.
(5)B G.
On an island loaded with high price places to eat Fiesta Fresh is a great place to take the whole family for cheap good food. The carnitas tacos are excellent. People working here are friendly and attentive.
(5)steve m.
So happy to find this Mexican restaurant/taqueria in Hilton Head. Plus: Open for Breakfast! We went for our morning meal and got huevos rancheros and a breakfast burrito. Happiness. Good salsa bar. Authentic. Will repeat.
(4)Ryan M.
Awesome Mexican food, and that's coming from a Texan. Very authentic and has great prices. Service is fast and the staff was very friendly. Everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed their meal and would not stop complimenting it after we left. 5 stars from Tejas!
(5)Kathryn A.
I tried this place while on vacation after reading reviews. I ordered a burrito. The service was good, the pico was fresh, but the meat (chicken) could use a tad more flavor and the beans are overpowering. Not bad overall.
(3)Travis N.
The best fish tacos I have ever eaten. Lots of fish in them and a tasty sauce. We had the chips and guacamole, nicely sized and they refilled our chips for free. Very authentic.
(5)Julie H.
The food here is awesome !!!! Small place and with the try . I will eat here again on vacation.
(5)Leah K.
Counter service restaurant But amazing Mexican food! They have a salsa bar which is great so you can have as much salsa as your heart desires. The men behind the counter were just beyond nice and all the food was exceptional. The tacos we had were two thumbs up and queso and chips were the icing on the cake! Definitely a must try and will be going back again!
(5)Mommy H.
Order at the counter, lots of tables to eat at or take it to go. Authentic and delicious food. Good prices. Guacamole, queso dip and homemade tortilla chips are a must. Kids menu has good options, both Mexican and American. Try the enchiladas!!!
(4)Rob M.
My girlfriend and I shared the fiesta nachos and a taco combination plate. Both of these things were amazing and only made better by the salsa bar in the corner. I will definitely be back here. This reminds me of the Mexican food I found in Northern California, which is a relief from what I'm used to finding on the east coast.
(5)Devon C.
Holy moly, this was good Mexican food. Me and my hubs are in HH for the first time and had no clue where to eat (besides the infamous Salty Dog Cafe). Wanted to find somewhere close to the hotel, and google surfaced this place and I'm glad it did! I had the chimichanga and he had the steak burrito with "Spanish sauce." The prices were low, especially considering the portions! Very flavorful and fresh tasting. The atmosphere was extremely laid back, you order as you walk in and choose your own seat from the tiny tables they have available. The dining area could use a facelift, but if good food is what you're looking for, go there!
(5)Harry M.
Good and fresh Mexican food. Portion are generous and prices are decent. Owner very nice.
(4)Mark H.
Stopped here for a late lunch based on other Yelp recommendations. Food was excellent, fresh/made to order and delivered to our table quickly after ordering at the counter. Staff was very friendly and seemed to know several of the patrons, which tends to be a good indication of a quality if the locals keep coming back. Will definitely come back again on our next visit to Hilton Head.
(5)J U.
muy bueno buena calidad y servicio familiar. Although nothing exhotic the place serves cool Mexican staples and food looks fresh and it is of good quality. Food IMO is not spicy/hot enough but heck use the fresh sauces they prepare, they are simply great!
(5)Holly R.
Yelp lead us here last night...was a little confused at first. This location is tucked away in a strip mall, and does not have the best atmosphere. Expect to walk in and order like a fast food restaurant. However, the food was pretty awesome. We both got combos. Rice and beans were pretty typical of any Mexican restaurant. However, the tacos with homemade shells were excellent! There is also a salsa bar with several choices...go with the green if you like it spicy (salsas are also homemade). We also chose a side of guacamole and chips. Chips here are just meh, but guacamole was great. On a side note, we were there just before close. The manager (or owner, not sure which) was VERY thoroughly cleaning everything. Even emptying out all the small trays that hold salsa cups, straws, etc. to clean the bins. Hopefully, that's a good indication of how they also keep the kitchen! He also personally checked on us several times to make sure all was ok.
(4)Brad D.
We arrived to hilton head late last night and wanted some good food. This was a great yelp find! looks like a family ran business who are friendly and traditional. We both had the enchiladas (beef and chicken) and both were delicious! check them out!
(4)Kathleen P.
After growing up in an area that has some of the best hidden gems of Mexican food, I can safely say I've eaten my fair share of some deliciousness. This was awesome. Fresh, fast, cheap, bountiful, and mouthwatering, which by the way, is my favorite kind of food. I normally do not dig Flan, but my husband insisted that I try his...i couldn't stop myself from eating almost half. It was unbelievably creamy. My husband licked the plate. Not only do I highly recommend this place...I am currently plotting a way to go back before I leave Hilton Head next week...
(5)Bridget Q.
Very tasty!! The have a great salsa bar! We went in at 830... And they close at 9 and they seemed more than happy to wait on us. Quick fresh and delicious! Worth trying!
(4)Aaron R.
This is a great local place ran by a family. The food was phenomenal. I expected a "watered down" version of Mexican food meant for tourists, meaning no spice, little flavor, and gringo friendly. This place defied my expectations. I had the carnitas nachos and my wife had carnitas tacos. The carnitas were cooked perfectly, freshly made, and had great flavor. The rice and beans were easily some of the best I've tasted. It is common to have canned beans/rice at some seedy Mexican joints, but this was top quality stuff, prepared in-house, and very fresh. The salsa in the salsa bar had the heat that most places lack. Most importantly, the service was great. It was clear that a family was operating the restaurant, and the younger members were taking orders/bringing out food. They were very friendly and attentive, even though the order at the counter set up indicates that there really isn't a wait staff. They were more than happy to bring out more chips and they ensured that the restaurant was clean (very clean to my eye) as well as fully stocked (salsa bar, lids, straws) nothing was cluttered or disordered as is common after a dinner rush. They always had service with a smile and seemed to enjoy helping customers. The price was great, we had large portions for a reasonable price. $17 for nachos, tacos, rice, beans, and two drinks. A family of four would be under $40 easily. The atmosphere, while small and tucked away in an off the road strip mall, was pleasant. My wife and I eat at Mexican restaurants of some sort weekly, and we were both talking about how great we thought Fiesta Fresh was for the rest of the evening. If we return to Hilton Head, we will surely be back.
(5)Kevin S.
This is an annual stop for my family while on vacation on HHI. We try to hit it twice in a week if that tells you anything. Fiesta Fresh is the best at what it is: an inexpensive, counter service Mexican restaurant. The Fiesta Tacos are great if you like authentic taqueria style tacos. Their American style (aka gringo) tacos are great as well. Either way you go, try the shrimp variety and you won't be disappointed. The staff is always accommodating and friendly friendly as well.
(5)Scott M.
Fast quick simple mexican food with good service. Kindof get old if you eat there too often. LIke the diverse menu.
(3)Mel D.
Reasonably priced food that's delicious! Got the gringo burrito with steak which I must admit was the best I've eaten anywhere. You can taste the fresh ingredients in the food which is a rarity nowadays especially in the chain restaurants. They also have great salsas with the right level of heat. Will visit again next time we're in Hilton Head Island.
(5)Ann C.
You know it's good when the locals eat here. Really great tacos, beans, chimichangas, and everything. FAST service with a smile. Really good Mexican food. Opens at 9 am - and I suggest getting there early for lunch. YUM!
(5)Chris M.
Great food, great service. Flavors are fresh and flavorful. Excellent choice for authentic Latin flavors on Hilton Head Island.
(4)Skye H.
Fresh food, great service. Top features of Fiesta Fresh Service that makes you want to leave a tip - outstanding! Full salsa bar - all fresh! Lowest priced meal we had all week! Fed a family of five for less than $35. The place was a little hard to find, but absolutely worth the effort. Semi-self-serve, and great atmosphere - they won't disappoint. Loved it here.
(5)Aerial F.
This was not what I was expecting. The restaurant is in a nice building and does have good food and service. But the restaurant it self is cheap and over charges. For the money we paid I would expect more food and actual silverware and plates. Instead we got little food, no chips or salsa until our food came out and the food was served on tacky plastic throw away plates with plastic ware that broke. The plates actually melted onto the food so we couldn't even eat the food on the bottom. I do travel a lot so in comparison to some hole in the wall restaurants this was by far one of the worst Mexican restaurant! I have definitely been to far nicer places that barely charged anything and you got real plates that didn't melt and Way way way more good! It may be good to people who have never left hilton head but it's not! Sorry but I do not like melted plastic in what little food I have!
(2)Lydia L.
Me and my family went here for some less expensive food and it was great. Great quality for a great price. has plenty of seating and pretty quick service.
(5)Greg S.
Great customer service. Fresh and delicious. Will visit again the next time on the island. The cheese dip was the best!
(5)Bill L.
Tasty Mexican fare hidden in a strip mall on New Orleans. Not a fancy place for sure but good food at a fair price, made quickly. Attentive and SINCERElY friendly service make we want to give it 4.5 stars.
(4)Jeff G.
Quick, easy and delicious. Had the gringo burrito and the nachos. Food was perfect size. It's like Baja Fresh (order then sit down and they will bring it to you) but better. Plus, we came in with 16 people and the staff moved tables, came out several times to make sure everything was great, and made us feel part of the family.
(4)Chris P.
I have been searching for THE burrito since we moved to North Carolina from San Francisco. We found it here!! We are vacationing on HHI for the week and luckily we tried Fiesta Fresh early in our trip because we will be back. The flavors are authentic and fresh. I mixed up our order (I accidentally ordered 1 burrito instead of 2....I blame it on my sun and surf soaked brain) but that turned out to be a good thing because the burrito was HUGE! It filled up both my husband's and my bellies! My 2yo son LOVED his taco and kept running over to take bites of my burrito! Salsa bar is varied, fresh, and flavorful. There's a smoked tomato salsa that is fantastic. Service was amazing - so kind, quick and courteous. What a great place this is!!! Flavorful, flavorful, flavorful!!!!
(5)Jason K.
Excellent service and great food at a good price. Guac is the best!
(5)Molly S.
Fairly good and fresh for cheap Mexican food. Decor was fairly standard and the place was packed. Our food came out quickly and the salsa bar was a nice touch. Nothing special, but a good lunch.
(3)Pete J.
Pleasant atmosphere. Order up front and one of the employees brings it to you. Got a beef taco and a chicken enchilada. Food was out in 5 minutes. Both were simple and awesome. The beef was seasoned well. All the employees seemed pleasant and upbeat and all employees were hispanic(it my be strange, but I always prefer hispanic people serving and prepping hispanic food). For a quick , cheap Mexican to eat come here. No waiters necessary. DOOOO ITTTTTTT.
(5)Lisa H.
Great Mexican food. Good lunch spot that's reasonably priced and everything was extremely delicious. We got a variety of good food from tacos, burritos, chimichangas, and tostadas. Everyone was extremely happy with the food. The staff was all extremely helpful and friendly. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
(5)Randall D.
Great food at decent prices, and the service was absolutely fantastic. I can see why locals eat here! This will be stop on any future trips to Hilton Head.
(4)Zane B.
Great food with reasonable prices. The fresh salsa bar was an unexpected surprise: it even had copious amounts of fresh cilantro! Great place for families.
(5)Cristo P.
Friendly, fast and caring service. Food is very well priced with authentic Mexican flavors.
(5)K M.
Excellent authentic food!! And reasonable priced!! Very friendly staff!! A hidden gem!! Highly recommend the enchiladas and taquitos!! Loved the unlimited salsa bar.
(5)Howard W.
We went tonight and it was fine. To be honest, Shane the Waiter at One Hot Mama's raved about this place, goes multiple times a week and so we went. It was good but is it worth 5 stars? Not sure I'd go that far. I have Diablo Shrimp which had a good spicy red sauce. There were maybe a dozen and a half shrimp which was a decent deal. The ball and chain got a chicken enchi which she enjoyed. The offspring had a cheese quesadilla that she enjoyed. We got rice and beans and they were pretty "authentic," i.e. kinda bland. They have a nice salsa bar with pretty fresh pico and 3 salsas, all of which had decent kicks to them. Might have been nice to have a more mild option. (that comes from a guy that ordered "Diablo," aka Devil, shrimp...eg SPICY) Don't get me wrong, Fiesta Fresh was really pretty good but 5 stars? Really? Not for us, no.
(3)Shannon H.
When I was searching on Yelp for an authentic Mexican restaurant in Hilton Head, I came across Fiesta Fresh. As an Arizona native, I look for buzz words like "hole in the wall" to ensure that I'm getting the real deal. Fiesta Fresh is a family run place that is clean but definitely not fancy; focus is on the food and the service. And that is exactly what we wanted! The food did indeed taste fresh and flavorful. We ordered everything from taquitos, to fish tacos, to cheese enchiladas, and everyone was happy with the flavor and portion sizes. The fried selections were crispy, not greasy. The rice was simple, yet very fluffy and tasty. You can tell the family takes great pride in their restaurant, as even their young son was helping to wipe down tables and the owners came around several times to ask if we were enjoying our food and if we needed anything else. These are the types of establishments that deserve support in a tourist town!
(5)Rupinder K.
Friendly service, above avg food. Great place for families. Many options of food. Service was awesome! This is that staple neighborhood restaurant which offer good food consistent every time.
(5)Sawyer B.
The staff was by far the friendliest that we've encountered on Hilton Head Island! The food was incredibly fresh, and tasted very authentic. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant, great for a family! If you're craving Mexican food, this is the place to eat! Even with the incredible food and staff, the food wasn't even expensive! Very reasonable!
(5)Rob O.
Another visit two year later and equally enjoyable. I base my rating on the relatively inexpensive meal balanced against the quality of the food and service. If you are looking for quality but inexpensive tex-mex food, then visit here.
(5)Megan S.
Love! Love! Love! Great prices! Really fresh clean mexican food!
(5)Holly B.
I absolutely LOVE this place. The gringo burrito is outstanding. It comes with tortilla chips, and I load them up with as much yummy pico de gallo as I can. I moved away from the Island last year and have missed this place ever since. In fact, it was the first establishment I visited when I returned for the holidays. Combine the excellent food with outstanding and prompt customer service, and you have a 5-star winner in my book. So sad that I now live on the other side of the country and have yet to find a burrito that even compares...
(5)Cheryl H.
Fiesta Fresh is the best Mexican food ever. This is the place that we compare all Mexican restaurants to. Authentic, good food, great little salsa bar offerings, clean, fast, friendly people -- what more could you ask for! We lived in HHI for 5 years and ate there every week (sometimes multiple times!). My favorite is the breakfast burritos! Best priced and best quality meal on the island! Hmm, I'm making myself so hungry - I need to plan a quick trip to HHI now :)

I've been there and to the one in Bluffton many times. This is not a fancy place - you place your order and they bring it to the table along with chips. You have to get your own cutlery and salsas. But I think it is the best Mexican food in the Low Country. I always have the Fiesta Burrito but my companion has many dishes. Everything is freshly prepared and good. Service is fast. Prices ar very reasonable. It is clean and neat. And they have Sidral - the only place I've found it in a restaurant outside of Mexico. At the one on Orleans, they alsways come around to make sure all is OK and we are satisfied - and we always have been.

Worth the effort to find this place. Very fresh and tasty food....the restaurant is pretty bare bones, but comfortable and the food and prices more than make up for anything I didn't like.
